Hiking is a popular thing to do around Emigrant Lake; Hanna Trail is a perfect local trail, and Bailey Creek Cottages is a fine place to get some rest. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Southern Cascade Range. High temperatures at Emigrant Lake through the summertime months are in       the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Emigrant Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 16, and since you're here, you could also have a look at pretty Feather Lake.                  Stay the night at Warner Valley Campground, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Rose Quartz Inn is a great site to spend a night or two. If you adore the outdoors, you'll go for Emigrant Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Chaos Crags Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Emigrant Lake has to offer, you can camp at Butte Creek Campground. All year is a great time in the Southern Cascade Range if you love the outdoors.
