You truly should like Emerald Lakes. Get covered with water paddling on San Joaquin River - South Fork, and the Kings River Trail offers hiking at its best. Yeah, come up here to the Central Sierra Nevada for a good time. If you need a location to stay Days Inn Bishop is a great choice; there's some flowing water nearby, Darwin Creek is a stream you can explore while you're here. Be careful coming to the Central Sierra Nevada,       you might not ever wanna return back home again. A great place to camp here at Emerald Lakes is North Lake Campground, and you'll hit upon a wonderful lake called Dingleberry Lake. Emerald Lakes gets very little rain; January is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is June. Devils Postpile National Monument is a perfect site close to Emerald Lakes, and paddling on Kings River - Middle Fork is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful.                  While you're here at Emerald Lakes, you could also have a look at scenic Pee Wee Lake; camping is available at Sabrina Campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada. Why not take a refreshing hike along the John Muir Trail - Pacific Crest Section, and Super 8 Bishop is a perfect location to get some rest. Throughout the warm days of summer here at Emerald Lakes, high temperatures typically get into the 90's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's.
