    If you are in Tulare county it's always a good idea to stop by Emerald Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant spot to camp here at Emerald Lake is Aspen Hollow - Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park; Tokopah Falls is always fun to check out. Tharps Rock is a nice place to take a look at while in the region; while you're here, you could take a look at Horse Creek. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! The Southern Sierra Nevada is great! Camping  
   at Log Bridge Campground is always a good experience, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Hockett Meadows Trail.
Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Emerald Lake. Get drenched paddling on Kaweah River - Middle Fork. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the Southern Sierra Nevada has to offer. The Atwell Hockett Trail offers hiking at its best, and Alta Peak is clearly visible from
 
               Emerald Lake. Through the summertime highs here at Emerald Lake get into the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Emerald Lake fall into the 20's.
Emerald Lake is one of the lakes here in the Southern Sierra Nevada. From a rainfall point of view Emerald Lake is a rather common place; January is the month that gets the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. While you're here at Emerald Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Visalia-Porterville, and a lovely lake like Heather Lake is a delightful spot to have a look at.
No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Emerald Lake. Pear Lake is a great lake next to Emerald Lake, and Alta Meadow is a magnificent place here at Emerald Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Do pay a visit to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park since you're here at Emerald Lake, and float down the rapids of Kaweah River in a kayak. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Emerald Lake; High Sierra Trail is a fine local trail; a splendid close by hotel is Comfort Inn At Sequoia National Park.
