So much cool stuff in the neighborhood of Ellery Lake, simply impressive. This lake is so wonderful. Why not stop at close by Mine Creek while you're here at Ellery Lake; you can go for a hike on the John Muir Trail - section 2. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Ellery Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Ellery Lake all through the wintertime       typically sink into the 0's. It is very waterless here at Ellery Lake regularly; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and October is when it's the driest. Ellery Lake is located in the Central Sierra Nevada. Having a great time at Ellery Lake is simple. A brilliant vista of stunning Tioga Peak is available from Ellery Lake, and going for a hike on the Gaylor Lakes Trail is always a splendid adventure. But wait, there's more                  amusing things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. If you come at the right time of year, Tenaya Creek offers some great whitewater, and if you came to camp Junction Campground is a magnificent site to do that. A great close by hotel is Heidelberg Inn; don't leave Ellery Lake without first going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12. Do check out Tioga Lake near Ellery Lake, it's a gorgeous lake; Glacier Canyon is a great site to check out. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Ellery Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Tioga Junction Campground is a fine site for that, and great skiing awaits you at June Mountain. Having a magnificent time in the Central Sierra Nevada is easy. If you need a place to stay Yosemite Gateway Motel is a glorious choice; time spent at Danburg Beach is always wonderful.
