You're probably addicted to lakes, Solitare Lake is one of those nearby, and the Summit Valley Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back again and again. Big Flat Campground is a great campground nearby; possibly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Flatiron Lake is just a very short distance away. Elk Hole commonly gets       a large amount of rain; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. If you came for an overnight stay Dillion Creek Campground is a magnificent place to camp, and you can run the rapids of Hurdygurdy Creek. At Elk Hole all through the long summer days highs are in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's                  while the cold winter nights at Elk Hole are in the 30's. Yeah, come up here to the Coast Ranges for a nice time. Elk Hole is right by the Clear Creek National Recreation Trail, and you need to take a look at Chimney Rock while you're here. Yeah, come here to Elk Hole for a brilliant time. Nearby Elk Valley is a delightful location to go if you're at Elk Hole; Trace Creek is a nice whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
