This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada. From a rain point of view Elizabeth Lake is a relatively typical spot; January is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is July. If you need a site to stay dnc -- Wawona Hotel is a good choice; a perfect spot to camp here at Elizabeth Lake is Tioga Campground. Budd Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out, and Soda Springs is always fun to check out.

| | Places like Tuolumne Meadows are wonderful to check out. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Elizabeth Lake get into the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Elizabeth Lake during the wintertime ordinarily plunge into the 20's. to Elizabeth Lake called the Gaylor Lakes Trail; a lake close by is Budd Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Sierra Nevada. Going for a hike on the Clouds Rest Trail is always a great adventure, and there's whitewater
on Tuolumne River for all you adrenaline people. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at The Ahwahnee, and the John Muir Trail - section 1 is a great hiking trail close by. This is no spot for people who don’t like
to have fun. One of the principal highlights of the surroundings of Elizabeth Lake is Johnson Peak, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Tenaya Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Tenaya Lake Campground is always a glorious experience, and Reymann Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by.
