Elderberry Lake is not the only place nearby, Elderberry Forebay is a nearby lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Piru Creek offers some pleasant whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Elderberry Lake is right by the Canton Canyon Trail; Rodeway Inn Magic Mountain Area is a fine spot       to get some rest. Float down the rapids of Piru Creek in a kayak, and a fine place to camp here at Elderberry Lake is Cienaga Campground. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Sierra Madre. The Warm Springs Necktie Trail offers hiking at its best, unsurprisingly you could also have a look at Castaic Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at Elderberry Lake through the summer are in the 80's while night lows                  are typically in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Elderberry Lake are in the 30's. This lake is located in the wonderful Sierra Madre. Near Elderberry Lake you stumble on Elderberry Canyon which is a magnificent place to take a look at, and camping is available at Castaic Lake RV Park. Elderberry Lake is a location that is quite dried out ordinarily; most of the rain falls through February while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This place, Elderberry Lake, it just has so much outdoors cool stuff.
