Do stop by Elderberry Forebay while you're in this part of California. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Near Six Flags-Magic Mountain, and camping at Cienaga Campground is always a great experience. If only every spot had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great globe it would be. You're possibly into lakes, Castaic Lake is one of those close by; hiking along the Canton Canyon Trail is nice fun. Soar down the rapids of Piru Creek in a kayak, and do take

| | a hike on the Warm Springs Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Summer at Elderberry Forebay comes with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Elderberry Forebay tend to be in the 30's. So many amusing things to do in the Sierra Madre, not enough time. Paddling on Piru Creek is so much fun, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Warm | |

Springs Necktie Trail.
Elderberry Forebay is pretty dried up mostly; February is the wettest month with most rain, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Rodeway Inn Magic Mountain Area is a delightful place
to get some rest, and as expected, this is a magnificent region for folks who like lakes, Castaic Lagoon is a lake in the neighborhood. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sierra Madre.
This place, the Sierra Madre,
has so much outdoors fun stuff. A great place to camp here at Elderberry Forebay is Castaic Lake RV Park; Elderberry Canyon is another fine location to take a look at close by.
