Sure, Lake Jennings is in close proximity. This is a popular spot for people from San Diego-Carlsbad-San Marcos. Yeah, come up here to the Santa Rosa Mountains for a nice time. Don't forget to take a delightful little tour to Chocolate Creek, and Loveland Reservoir is a great lake close by. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Horsethief Ridge Trail, and El Cajon Mountain is pretty and can be made out from here. This                  lake is so wonderful. El Capitan Lake is right by the Middle Peak Loop Trail; El Capitan Lake is a splendid location to visit for more than one day, Oak Creek RV Park is a splendid location to camp nearby. El Capitan Lake is one of the lakes here in the Santa Rosa Mountains. If only every spot had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great world it would be. Hiking along the Monument Trail is magnificent fun; in close proximity to El Capitan Lake you stumble on a golf course called Barona Creek Golf Club. Be careful coming to the Santa Rosa Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. If you need a location to stay Barona Valley Ranch Resort and Casino is a great choice, and Chocolate Canyon is also a magnificent spot to look at.
