     Man, is there plenty of entertaining stuff to do near Lake Eiler. Good hiking is available along the Chaos Crags Trail; don't leave Lake Eiler without first paying a visit to Cornaz Spring. Whitewater paddling is good on Pit River. Lakes are perfect; Box Lake is a lake that's near Lake Eiler.
This lake is so wonderful. The vista of Eiler Butte from Lake Eiler is beautiful; hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Eiler; Heart Lake Twin Meadows Trail is
 
   a pleasant local trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Cypress Campground is a great spot to camp, and if you haven’t been to Lassen Volcanic National Park, you must schedule some time for it since you're here. Lake Eiler is located in the Southern Cascade Range.
All the outdoors entertaining things in the Southern Cascade Range will keep you coming back persistently. Don't leave Lake Eiler without first going for a hike along
 
               the Bunchgrass Trail, and you should without doubt dedicate some time to Thousand Lakes Valley while you're here at Lake Eiler. At Lake Eiler all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Lake Eiler are in the 10's. Honn Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and not far from Lake Eiler you'll hit upon Barrett Lake which is a pretty lake.
The high level of rain makes Lake Eiler a relatively wet location; most of the snow falls through January, and the driest month is July. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Southern Cascade Range. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pit River; Bailey Creek Cottages is a fine place to get some rest.

A 4 1/2 star golf course is about 30 minutes in Fall River Mills. The north entrance of Lassen National Park is a short 20 minute drive and Subway Cave, a volcanic formed tube , is a 5 minute drive. Another attraction to this area is the Thousand Lake Wilderness area, hiking and beautiful scenery are part of the experience in this remote wilderness area. If you aren't up to all these activities you can just relax here in the park, watching the ducks in the lake and the fish jumping or fish for our trophy rainbow trout with barbless flies or barbless single hook spinners. Our lake Catherine is catch and release only.

All of our RV sites are full hookups, which include water, sewer, electric, cable and 2 hours of free wi-fi. We have a rec-hall for our guests to gather for groups or family gatherings. There is a nice area that has picnic tables for gatherings with a large BBQ for our guests to use.
