Man, is there plenty of entertaining stuff to do near Lake Eiler. Good hiking is available along the Chaos Crags Trail; don't leave Lake Eiler without first paying a visit to Cornaz Spring. Whitewater paddling is good on Pit River. Lakes are perfect; Box Lake is a lake that's near Lake Eiler. This lake is so wonderful. The vista of Eiler Butte from Lake Eiler is beautiful; hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Eiler; Heart Lake Twin Meadows Trail is

If you came for an overnight stay Cypress Campground is a great spot to camp, and if you haven’t been to Lassen Volcanic National Park, you must schedule some time for it since you're here. Another attraction to this area is the Thousand Lake Wilderness area, hiking and beautiful scenery are part of the experience in this remote wilderness area. If you aren't up to all these activities you can just relax here in the park, watching the ducks in the lake and the fish jumping or fish for our trophy rainbow trout with barbless flies or barbless single hook spinners. Our lake Catherine is catch and release only.
