Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Central Sierra Nevada rules! Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Merced River - South Fork, and if you wish for a little side tour, try Red Peak Pass. This lake is so wonderful. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Tenaya Creek, and Edna Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Bowler Group Campground is a delightful local campground. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Edna Lake.
