    What a nice lake Echo Lake is. Throughout the long summer days, highs typically are in the 80's at Echo Lake, and the night is quite colder of course, regularly in the 40's. Through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 40's with temperatures at Echo Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. That right there is a load of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Klamath Mountains has it all. Red Mountain Meadows is right here at Echo Lake; if  
   you have time, Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is a national park worth going to. This lake is one of the great places here in the Klamath Mountains.
You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Klamath Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Echo Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Stoney Point Campground is a great local campground, and a striking lake like Lake Anna is a nice site to explore. An average
 
               amount of precipitation falls at Echo Lake; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is when it's the driest.
Deer Creek Pass is a great place to spend some time at, and there are some good whitewater spots on Trinity River. All the outdoors cool things in close proximity to Echo Lake will keep you coming back persistently. Billy-Be-Damn Lake is a fine lake close to Echo Lake, and at Echo Lake you can see Gibson Peak. There's whitewater on Coffee Creek for all you adrenaline people, and a great place to camp here at Echo Lake is Fawn Campground.
