For the duration of the days of summer highs here at Echo Lake reach the 80's, and the nighttime is rather chillier of course, mostly in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 40's while Echo Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. So many cool things to do

| | at Echo Lake, so little time. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Central is a fine choice. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Tree House Motor Inn, and camping is available at Gumboat Campground. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Trinity River - East Fork, and a day on the slopes of Mount Shasta is just what you need. Just can't get enough of Echo Lake. Why not camp at Castle Lake | |

Campground while you're here at Echo Lake, and Devils Pocket is a great place. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Echo Lake; Echo Lake Trail is a splendid local trail, and there's whitewater on Sacramento River for all you adrenaline
people. Tamarack Creek is a splendid local stream, and no need to travel far to have a look at attention-grabbing stuff like Panther Rock. At Echo Lake you don’t see much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is December while
July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Devils Gulch is close to Echo Lake and is definitely a great place to explore, and Lower Seven Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Castle Lake Trail; do have a look at Terrace Lake, it's a delightful lake.
