Echo Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Lassen Volcanic National Park is a national park worth taking a look at. So many exciting things to do at Echo Lake, so little time. A short tour to Cummings Spring is always worthwhile. There's so much to do here at Echo Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Silver Bowl Campground is a tremendous place for that.; the month with most of the

| | snow is January, and the driest month of the year is July.
This lake is so wonderful. Betty Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore; going for a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 16 is always a perfect adventure. There's so much to do here at Echo Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rocky Knoll Campground is a glorious place for that; if you like swamps you're in luck, Hay Meadow is right close by. Rose Quartz is a great choice, and going for a hike on the Lassen Trail is always a good adventure. Man, is there a load of fun things to do in the Southern Cascade Range. Beauty Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and Bond
Valley is another great place to check out close by. Through the long summer days highs here at Echo Lake get into the 80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Echo Lake.
