A splendid panorama of gorgeous English Mountain is available from Echo Lake, and Royal Gorge has splendid slopes and a friendly staff. Echo Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. During the warm months at Echo Lake highs are typically in the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. All through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 40's with winter lows in the       20's overnight here at Echo Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Places like English Meadow are fine to take a look at. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Deer Creek Inn is a good choice, and Soda Springs is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. Echo Lake gets a typical amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is regularly January, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is July. There's                  so much to do here at Echo Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Canyon Creek Campground is a good site for that; dry warm beds await you at Chalet View Lodge. Going for a hike on the Grouse Ridge Trail is always a fine adventure, and French Creek is near Echo Lake and is always a bliss to stop at. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back over and over. There is a tremendous hiking trail in close proximity to Echo Lake called the Glacier Lakes Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Yuba River - South Fork offers some good whitewater. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Sierra Nevada for a tremendous time. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Fordyce Creek, and a spree to Echo Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Damfine Spring. Now, you may believe that's heaps but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Echo Lake. Lakes are great; Catfish Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Echo Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Echo Lake has to offer, you can camp at Silver Tip Campground. This lake is so wonderful.
