This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Secret Lake is in close proximity, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Glacier Lakes Trail. If you come at the right time of year, Yuba River - South Fork offers some good whitewater, and Royal Gorge is a very popular ski area close at hand. This lake is so wonderful.       Places like English Meadow are great to stop by; get yourself into a kayak and hit Fordyce Creek. Echo Lake gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; during January this area sees the most rain while July is usually the driest month. There's so much to do here at Echo Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Silver Tip Campground is a good spot for that; going for a hike on the Crooked Lakes Trail is always a great adventure. This spot, the Northern                  Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. You'll meet a lot of folks from Truckee-Grass Valley here; there are good sites to explore along the Grouse Ridge Trail. This place, Echo Lake, it truly has so much outdoors amusing stuff. You can catch a sight of English Mountain from Echo Lake, and some of the water nearby flows, like French Creek. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Weil Lake is a perfect lake near Echo Lake; why not head up to Soda Springs and strap some skis to your feet. Echo Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Echo Lake with night lows in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Echo Lake drop into the 20's. Yeah, come here to Echo Lake for a great time. Damfine Spring is a pretty place to have a look at while you're at Echo Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Chalet View Lodge.
