Cape Canyon Reservoir is a lake around here, and beaches are tremendous and Button Shell Beach is no exception. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. A day at Moonstone Beach near Echo Lake is time well spent; Torqua Spring is always fun to check out. Lakes are glorious; Buffalo Springs Reservoirs is a lake that's close to Echo Lake, and Avalon's Hermit Gultch is a great campground nearby.       A golf course near Echo Lake is Catalina Island Golf Course, and do schedule some time to stop at Cabrillo Harbor if you have a chance. If you came for an overnight stay Two-harbors is a good place to camp, and dry warm beds await you at Catalina Island Seacrest Inn. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. Black Jack Mountain is picturesque and can be spotted from Echo Lake, and if you need a site to stay Hotel St. Lauren is a good choice.                  Summertime at Echo Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 60's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Echo Lake temperatures fall to the 40's.
