    Eaton Lakes is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Eaton Lakes. If you need a site to stay Baymont Inn Yreka is a good choice; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Coffee Creek. Eaton Peak is simple to spot from Eaton Lakes, and close by you find the Deacon Lee Trail which is a fine hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. North Fork Horse  
   Range Creek is a lovely stream that is worth visiting, and camping at Mountain Village RV Park is always a nice experience.
Just can't get enough of the Klamath Mountains. Eaton Lakes is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Trail Creek Campground is a fine local campground, and going for a hike on the Tanners Peak Trail is always a delightful adventure. Summertime at Eaton Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 90's. Summer overnight lows dip down
 
               to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Eaton Lakes. And if that's not enough there's a lot more amusing stuff to do in the Klamath Mountains. There are other sites here than Eaton Lakes, for example Big Duck Lake.
There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Salmon River, and you ought to without doubt dedicate some time to Paradise Hollow if you're here at Eaton Lakes. Eaton Lakes is located in the Klamath Mountains. A typical amount of rain falls here at Eaton Lakes; December is when you get the most rain here; July is the month with the least moisture.
