It is very waterless here at East Reservoir typically; most of the rain falls during January while July is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant place for whitewater paddling next to East Reservoir is Stony Creek; you can go for a hike on the Bonnie View Trail. Summertime highs at East Reservoir ordinarily tend to be in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down       to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at East Reservoir dip into the 30's. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Klamath Mountains. Why not camp at Mud Flat Campground since you're here at East Reservoir. Get your heart pumping on the delightful whitewater of Grindstone Creek; going for a hike on the Bear Wallow Trail is always a pleasant                  adventure. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Klamath Mountains.
