There's brilliant hiking along the Trout Creek Trail, and not far from East Reservoir you'll stumble on Forks Reservoir which is a pretty lake. Life's too short to enjoy       all the exciting things in the Klamath Mountains. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Dry Lake Reservoir. Not much rainfall falls here at East Reservoir; the month with most of the rain is January while July is commonly the driest month. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Stony Creek, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites WILLOWS is a delightful site to get some rest. Throughout                  the summer months highs here at East Reservoir get into the 90's, and the overnight is slightly colder of course, frequently in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are ordinarily in the 50's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at East Reservoir sink into the 30's. If you came for an overnight stay Whitlock Campground is a great place to camp, and Grindstone Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot nearby. All year is a brilliant time in the Klamath Mountains if you go for the outdoors. Go for a hike on the Bear Wallow Trail, and why not camp at Mud Flat Campground if you're here at East Reservoir.
