Do stop by East Park Reservoir while you're in this part of California. Through the summer, highs regularly are in the 90's at East Park Reservoir with nighttime lows in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's, and night lows at East Park Reservoir through the winter ordinarily dip into the 30's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Klamath Mountains. East Park Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and East Park Reservoir is good enough

| | to spend more than a day at, Diversion Dam Campground is a good local campground. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Klamath Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little trip to Hyphus Creek since you're here at East Park Reservoir, and the Trout Creek Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby. Not much rainfall falls here at East Park Reservoir; through January this area sees the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. | |

There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Stony Creek, and going for a hike on the Bear Wallow Trail is always a glorious adventure. So much cool stuff to do here at East Park Reservoir, too glorious to be true. There's so much
to do here at East Park Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Digger Pine Campground is a magnificent spot for that; after a long day outdoors Lake Point Lodge ClearLake Oaks is a wonderful location to spend a night or
two. So many cool things to do in the Klamath Mountains, not enough time. If you come at the right time of year, Stony Creek offers some pleasant whitewater; nearby you come across the Bathhouse Trail which is a great hiking trail.
