While you're here at East Lake, you could also check out pretty Nutter Lake, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Tenaya Creek. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff truly is abundant here in the Central Sierra Nevada. East Fork Green Creek is a pretty stream that is worth taking a look at, and Paho Campground is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location       to stay Heidelberg Inn is a magnificent choice. You might want to pay a visit to Glines Canyon since you're here at East Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around East Lake; Pacific Crest Trail - section 12 is a wonderful local trail. If only every place had this much outdoors cool things, what a great world it would be. Dry warm beds await you at Yosemite Gateway Motel; Gilman Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. It is very dried up here at                  East Lake generally; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow; October is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the John Muir Trail - section 1, and at East Lake you can spot Camiaca Peak. For the period of the days of summer at East Lake highs are regularly in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at East Lake dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Sierra Nevada.
