    If you are in Mono county it's always a good idea to stop by East Lake. If the weather is beautiful, you obtain a pleasant sight of Camiaca Peak from East Lake, and close by Glines Canyon is a tremendous location to go. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada. East Fork Green Creek is a pleasant local stream; if you need a location to stay Yosemite Gateway Motel is a nice choice. This lake is one of  
   the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada.
Hiking along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12 is good fun, and dry warm beds await you at Ruby Inn. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Central Sierra Nevada. East Lake is a tremendous location to camp, Saddlebag Campground is a tremendous location; if you're here you can take a hike along the John Muir Trail - section 1. That right there is plenty already, but it goes on; East Lake has
 
               it all. Have a great hiking adventure along the Gaylor Lakes Trail. Lakes are splendid; Frog Lakes is a lake that's near East Lake.
Summertime at East Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 30's. Throughout the winter highs are ordinarily in the 40's while East Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. There are some fine whitewater spots on Tenaya Creek, and camping at East Lake is brilliant fun, Paho Campground is a brilliant local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
East Lake gets very little rain; January is when you get the most snow here while October is mostly the driest month.
