East Kennedy Lake is a location that is relatively dry generally; of all the months in a year January is       the one with the most rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Just can't get enough of the Central Sierra Nevada. Do pay a visit to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park if you're here at East Kennedy Lake, and hiking along the Don Cecil Trail is glorious fun. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kings River - Middle Fork; since you're here                  you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 11. There are other spots here than East Kennedy Lake, for example Lewis Lake; a quick spree to West Fork Kennedy Creek is without doubt a fine idea. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from East Kennedy Lake, you'll discover West Kennedy Lake which is a wonderful lake, and the panorama of pretty Kennedy Mountain is good. You'll need more than a day to explore everything East Kennedy Lake has to offer, you can camp at Sentinel Campground, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Sheep Creek Trail. At East Kennedy Lake throughout the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 40's while East Kennedy Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's.
