     If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to East Fork Lakes. This lake is one of the great places here in the Klamath Mountains. The yearly precipitation here at East Fork Lakes is about average; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest of the months is July.
All the outdoors enjoyable things in the Klamath Mountains will keep you coming back many times. You could also go to East Weaver Lake since you're here
 
   at East Fork Lakes; it's close by, and Trinity River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is a national park worth stopping at, and why not camp at Ripstein Campground if you're here at East Fork Lakes. Whitewater paddling is fine on Canyon Creek, and on a lovely day you obtain a good panorama of Monument Peak from East Fork Lakes.
For the duration of the long summer
 
               days highs here at East Fork Lakes reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at East Fork Lakes dip into the 20's. East Fork Lakes is not the only spot close by, Rush Creek Lakes is a close by lake, and if you came for an overnight stay East Weaver Campground is a magnificent place to camp.
