Get your heart beating on the nice whitewater       of Canyon Creek, and East Fork Lakes is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Ripstein Campground is a nice local campground. At East Fork Lakes through the days of summer highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Through the winter the highs are typically in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for East Fork Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Trinity River for all you adrenaline kick people; the panorama of striking Monument                  Peak is great. From a precipitation point of view East Fork Lakes is a rather normal spot; December is when you get the most rain here, and July on the other hand is the driest.
