Why not stop by Lake Earl if you're passing through these parts. If you need a place to stay Anchor Beach Inn is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Crescent City Koa Kampground is a perfect place to do that, and Redwood National and State Parks is a great spot close by. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Smith River - South Fork; why not take a little visit to Jordan Creek since you're here. And if that's not enough
| | | |
| | there's lots more cool things to do in the Coast Ranges. Lake Earl is right by the Paradise Trail, and time spent at Pebble Beach is always delightful. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Smith River - North Fork, and you'll in all probability meet some people from Crescent City North here. There's so much to do here at Lake Earl that you need to camp here for a while, | |

Village Camper Inn is a tremendous location for that, and a lake nearby is Lake Talawa. Just can't get enough of the Coast Ranges. Take a hike on the French Hill Trail, and Econo Lodge Crescent City is a good spot to get some
rest. The high level of rain makes Lake Earl a reasonably wet place; the month with most of the rain is December; the driest month of the year is July. The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful. During the warm months at Lake
Earl temperatures are mostly in the 60's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Lake Earl. This lake
is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend close by Kings Valley Golf Course, and during your stay here do have a look at nearby Kellogg Road Beach.
