    Beautiful Dutchman Lake has much to offer visitors. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Dutchman Lake highs are usually in the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and night lows through the wintertime for Dutchman Lake tend to be in the 20's. Stay the night at Fresno Dome Campground, and Dutchman  
   Lake is right by the Mono Meadow Trail.
But wait, there's more fun things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. Mount Raymond is clearly visible from Dutchman Lake, and if you need a location to stay Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite is a delightful choice. This site is excellent, just look at all the cool stuff to do next to Dutchman Lake. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Dutchman Lake, so little time. Take a hike on the Buena Vista Trail, and dnc -- Wawona Hotel
 
               is a wonderful location to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. Take a little journey to Crescent Creek while you're here at Dutchman Lake, and needless to say, this is a brilliant region for people who like lakes, Hoggem Lake is a lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. The Chilnualna Fall Trail offers hiking at its best, and why not head up to Badger Pass and strap some skis to your feet. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Willow Creek. There's so much to do here at Dutchman Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Little Sandy Campground is a magnificent site for that.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Sierra Nevada. Get covered with water paddling on Merced River - South Fork, and Yosemite National Park is a very nice site to explore. While you're here at Dutchman Lake it's a pleasant idea to go to Last Chance Meadow, and in all probability you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Star Lakes is just a very short distance away. The amount of rainfall that falls at Dutchman Lake is close to the national average; January is when you get the most rain here, and July is when it's the driest.
