You'll discover a pretty lake called Dwight Hammond Reservoir near Durney Lake; Durney Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Trailer Lane RV Park is a great local campground. the Castle Lake Trail, and Weed Golf Club is a glorious golf course close by.
What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Going for a hike along the Echo Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and paddling
on Sacramento River is so much fun. During the months of summer highs here at Durney Lake get into the 90's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally
in the 40's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Durney Lake tend to be in the 20's.
It's always magnificent to take a look at The Eddys. There's so much to do here at Durney Lake that you need to camp here for a while,
Gumboat Campground is a wonderful location for that. Durney Lake is pretty dried out commonly; through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is July.
