Many people like to go to Durney Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There is a tremendous hiking trail close to Durney Lake called the Sisson Calahan National Recreation Trail, and a delightful site to camp here at Durney Lake is Trailer Lane RV Park. If the weather is pretty, you get a perfect panorama of Mount Eddy from Durney Lake; if you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Central is a great choice. During the warm months, highs typically are in the 90's at Durney

site to get some rest. Going for a hike on the Echo Lake Trail is always a fine adventure, and Durney Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Gumboat Campground is a great local campground. But wait, there's more to do near
Durney Lake. Go for a hike on the Castle Lake Trail. The Eddys is a good local attraction, and for you golfers we recommend close by Weed Golf Club. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sacramento River, and the beautiful Trinity Mountains is here.
