This lake is so wonderful. There is a tremendous hiking trail close to Durney Lake called the Sisson Calahan National Recreation Trail, and a delightful site to camp here at Durney Lake is Trailer Lane RV Park. If the weather is pretty, you get a perfect panorama of Mount Eddy from Durney Lake; if you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Central is a great choice. During the warm months, highs typically are in the 90's at Durney       Lake, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's while Durney Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's.
