Throughout the warm months highs here at Durbin Lake get into the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Durbin Lake. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Southern Cascade Range.       Visiting Lassen Volcanic National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and you can stay the night at Bunchgrass Campground. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pit River, and going for a hike on the Heart Lake Twin Meadows Trail is always a great adventure. A wonderful lake like Hufford Lake close to Durbin Lake is a great place to visit; there is a great hiking trail nearby called the                  Bunchgrass Trail. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Bailey Creek Cottages is a brilliant location to spend a night or two, and at Durbin Lake you can see Eiler Butte. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene places, why not stop by Barrett Lake near Durbin Lake, and Pit River has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is located in the wonderful Southern Cascade Range. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Southern Cascade Range. A good spot like Thousand Lakes Valley here at Durbin Lake is too wonderful to miss, and Cypress Campground is a fine campground nearby. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are really plentiful here at Durbin Lake.
