Durbin Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; most of the snow falls through January while July is frequently the driest month. Throughout the warm months highs here at Durbin Lake get into the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Durbin Lake. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Southern Cascade Range.

serene places, why not stop by Barrett Lake near Durbin Lake, and Pit River has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is located in the wonderful Southern Cascade Range. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here
in the Southern Cascade Range. A good spot like Thousand Lakes Valley here at Durbin Lake is too wonderful to miss, and Cypress Campground is a fine campground nearby. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are really plentiful here at
Durbin Lake. Cornaz Spring is always fun to check out, and nearby you locate the Chaos Crags Trail which is a good hiking trail.

A 4 1/2 star golf course is about 30 minutes in Fall River Mills. The north entrance of Lassen National Park is a short 20 minute drive and Subway Cave, a volcanic formed tube , is a 5 minute drive. Another attraction to this area is the Thousand Lake Wilderness area, hiking and beautiful scenery are part of the experience in this remote wilderness area. If you aren't up to all these activities you can just relax here in the park, watching the ducks in the lake and the fish jumping or fish for our trophy rainbow trout with barbless flies or barbless single hook spinners. Our lake Catherine is catch and release only.
All of our RV sites are full hookups, which include water, sewer, electric, cable and 2 hours of free wi-fi. We have a rec-hall for our guests to gather for groups or family gatherings. There is a nice area that has picnic tables for gatherings with a large BBQ for our guest... |
