You can catch a glimpse of Eiler Butte from Durbin Lake It's always great to have a look at Cornaz Spring. Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not stop at Barrett Lake in the vicinity of Durbin Lake, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Chaos Crags Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Durbin Lake that you need to camp here       for a while, Cypress Campground is a magnificent place for that, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Bunchgrass Trail. Yeah, come here to Durbin Lake for a great time. Visiting Lassen Volcanic National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet; on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Heart Lake Twin Meadows Trail. Durbin Lake is one of the lakes here in the Southern Cascade Range. Now, you may feel that's loads but                  there's even more cool things to do here in the Southern Cascade Range. There's whitewater on Pit River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and you'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Hufford Lake. A perfect place like Thousand Lakes Valley here at Durbin Lake is too delightful to miss; dry warm beds await you at Bailey Creek Cottages. And if that's not sufficient there's a heap more fun stuff to do in the Southern Cascade Range. If you came to camp Bunchgrass Campground is a great location to do that, and get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Pit River. A great deal of rainfall falls at Durbin Lake; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow; the driest month of the year is July. At Durbin Lake through the warm months highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's.
