You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Boreal if you're here,       and the Lola Montez Trail is a good hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Squaw Valley Lodge is a pleasant location to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Yuba River - South Fork. Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more cool things to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. There is a fine hiking trail near Dulzura Lake called the Heath                  Falls Overlook Trail, and stunning scenery and pleasant skiing is what you get at Soda Springs. And if that's not enough there's plenty more cool stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. You might want to pay a visit to Summit Valley since you're here at Dulzura Lake; going for a hike on the Long Valley Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Dulzura Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. At Dulzura Lake during the summertime months highs are in the 70's, and the night is a tad cooler of course, usually in the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's; night lows at Dulzura Lake all through the wintertime typically dip into the 20's. Dulzura Lake is a wet spot that gets a good deal of rainfall; January is when you get the most rain here, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
