This lake is so wonderful. Onion Pond is a nice lake near Dugans Pond; dry warm beds await you at Dawn Ranch. At Dugans Pond throughout the summertime highs are in the 60's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's while the cold winter nights at Dugans Pond are in the 40's. The high level of rainfall makes Dugans Pond a pretty wet site; all through the month of January you get

| | the most rain around here while July is typically the driest month. Just can't get enough of the Coast Ranges. Put some time aside to spend at Government Spring since you're here at Dugans Pond, and going for a hike along the Monte Rio Fire Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Creek. And that's not everything you can do here in the Coast Ranges. A great location to stop by near Dugans Pond is Holmes Canyon, and Dugans Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Rivers End is a pleasant local campground.
