If you are traveling by, why not stop by Dugan Pond. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Take a side visit to Church Creek, and Dugan Pond is right by the Deer Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Packer Lake Saddle is a great place to explore nearby, and paddling on Yuba River - North Fork is so much fun. Camping at Packsaddle Campground is always a tremendous experience; after a long day outdoors Deer Creek Inn is a tremendous

Deer Lake is a great lake right next door to Dugan Pond; going for a hike along the Butcher Ranch Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. The amount of rain that falls at Dugan Pond is close to the national average; through the month of January you get the most rain around here, and July on the other hand is the driest. of the surroundings of Dugan Pond is Sierra Buttes, and hiking along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 15 is nice fun.
So many exciting things in the Northern Sierra Nevada, just amazing. There's some attention-grabbing stuff
to make out at Packer Dam near Dugan Pond; soar down the rapids of Lavezzola Creek in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. A fine nearby hotel is Chalet View Lodge; hey, Gotta ski right? Royal Gorge is a great spot to do that. A good
location to camp here at Dugan Pond is Berger Campground.
For the period of the long summer days highs here at Dugan Pond reach the 90's with overnight lows in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's;
after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Dugan Pond drop into the 20's. Dugan Pond is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
