High temperatures at Duck Pond through the summer months are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 60's, and night lows at Duck Pond throughout the winter regularly dip into the 40's. This is a great neighborhood for people who like lakes. Lake Miramar is a lake around here, and Burnt Rancheria - Cleveland National Forest       is a good local campground. You feel that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Get your pulse rate up on the wonderful whitewater of Los Penasquitos Creek; it's a magnificent idea to check out Chicarita Creek. This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Kearny Mesa can be distinguished from Duck Pond; you can run the rapids of Escondido Creek. Not much rain falls here at Duck Pond; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful.
