Dry warm beds await you at Golden Eagle Motel; do check out Antelope Creek Lakes, it's a beautiful lake. For the period of the long summer days at Duck Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Duck Lake tend to be in the 10's. These mountains rock, just check out all the cool stuff       to do in the Southern Cascade Range. A good location for whitewater paddling close to Duck Lake is McCloud River; you can stay the night at Tenneant Campground. Go for a hike on the Cone Point Trail, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mount Shasta while you're here. Around Duck Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally December, that's the one that snows the most, and July on the other hand is the                  driest. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at Duck Lake. There's so much to do here at Duck Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Tennant Campground is a brilliant place for that, and going for a hike on the Angel Meadow Trail is always a tremendous adventure. You just must like the Southern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful.
