From a rain point of view Duck Lake is a quite common location; the month with most of the snow is January while July is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Bailey Creek Cottages is a perfect choice, and you can run the rapids of Indian Creek Feather Tributary. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Duck Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Susan River Campground is a great site to camp. Not far from Duck Lake, you'll stumble on Rice Lake which                  is a picturesque lake; since you're here you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 16. Summertime at Duck Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's.
