You'll need more than a day to explore everything Duck Lake has to offer, you can camp at Butte Creek Campground.       It is very dried out here at Duck Lake regularly; during the month of January you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is July. Be careful coming to Duck Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Hanna Trail. There's so much to do here at Duck Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Stephens Campground is a magnificent site for that.
