That right there is lots of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Central Sierra Nevada has it all. If you come at the right time of year, San Joaquin River - South Fork offers some delightful whitewater; going for a hike on the Sherwin Lakes Trail is always a good adventure. Be careful coming to the Central Sierra Nevada, you might not ever wanna go back home again. A picturesque lake like Pika Lake in the neighborhood of Duck Lake is a magnificent site

If you need a spot to stay Rodeway Inn Sierra Nevada is a perfect choice, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Mono Creek. For the period of the summertime highs here at Duck Lake reach the 70's, and the nighttime is rather colder of course, mostly in the 40's. Mountain, and Duck Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Cold Water Campground is a good local campground. Gotta ski! Mammoth Mountain is a pleasant location to do that, and there are delightful places to discover along
the Mammoth Rock Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada. This place is great, just look at all the cool stuff to do in close proximity to Duck Lake. You'll come across a beautiful lake called
Barney Lake near Duck Lake, and you can go for a hike on the John Muir Trail - section 2. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Snowcreek Resort is a good location to spend a night or two, and a delightful site to camp here at Duck Lake is McGee Creek RV Park and Campground.
