What a nice lake Duck Lake is. Throughout the months of summer here at Duck Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Duck Lake. There are good locations to discover along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Dry warm

here at Duck Lake. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly is plentiful here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Mokelumne River - North Fork is a brilliant whitewater spot close to Duck Lake; nearby you find the Emigrant Trail which is
a wonderful hiking trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. A day on the slopes of Kirkwood is just what you need, and Bee Gulch is a good spot to spend some time. Backpackers Campground is a glorious
campground here, and the snow is good at Bear Valley. Duck Lake is a quite wet place generally with lots of precipitation; January is the month that gets the most snow; the driest month is July.
