While you're here at Dry Lakes it's a good idea to visit Butler Meadow; you can hit the slopes at Alpine Meadows around here. Dry Lakes mostly gets a great deal of rainfall; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada.       This lake is so wonderful. Squaw Valley Lodge is a fine place to get some rest, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Squaw Valley. Gerle Creek Divide Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. You can run the rapids of Rubicon River near Dry Lakes, and pleasant hiking is available along the Dry Lakes Trail. So many amusing things to do here at Dry Lakes, too good to be true. The Rubicon Trail offers hiking                  at its best, and get your heart pumping on the delightful whitewater of American River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. There's nice hiking along the Parsley Bar Trail, and of course Angel Creek flows through this region. And if that's not enough there's lots more amusing stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. There's so much to do here at Dry Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Hell Hole Campground is a pleasant site for that; if you get bored of Dry Lakes you could also go to nearby Hell Hole Reservoir. Dry warm beds await you at Plumpjack Squaw Valley Inn, and if you came to camp Hell Hole-In Campground is a good location to do that. For the duration of the summer months here at Dry Lakes, high temperatures typically get into the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 40's.
