It's always fun to stop by Dry Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Rubicon Trail, and there are pleasant spots to look at along the Dry Lakes Trail. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. A quick tour to Angel Creek in close proximity to Dry Lakes is a nice idea, and why not camp at Hell Hole-In Campground if you're here at Dry Lakes. | | location; throughout January this area sees the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest.
Don't leave Dry Lakes without first going for a hike along the Parsley Bar Trail; Alpine Meadows is a pleasant local ski area. During the warmest time of the year highs here at Dry Lakes reach the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. Butler Meadow is right here at Dry Lakes, and a good spot to camp here at Dry Lakes is Hell Hole Campground. Dry Lakes is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Just can't get enough of Dry Lakes. You can run
the rapids of Rubicon River near Dry Lakes, and Squaw Valley Lodge is a splendid location to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. Everybody close by loves skiing at Squaw Valley, and there's whitewater on American River -
South Fork for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Having a good time in the Northern Sierra Nevada is trouble-free. Looking for something in the neighborhood of Dry Lakes? Gerle Creek Divide Reservoir is close by; dry warm beds await you at Plumpjack Squaw Valley Inn.
