     Dry Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area next to Dry Lake has to offer. Get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Trace Creek, and you're possibly into lakes, Bear Lake is one of those close by.
Dry Lake is located in the Klamath Mountains. Stay the night at Dillion Creek Campground, and
 
   don't miss out on a tour to Oregon Caves National Monument if you're here. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Dry Lake. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's with temperatures at Dry Lake dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights.
These mountains rock, just look at all the fun stuff to do in the Klamath Mountains. A wonderful spot for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Dry Lake is
 
               Klamath River, and don't leave Dry Lake without first going for a hike along the Clear Creek National Recreation Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Dry Lake has to offer, you can camp at Pick-aw-Ish Campground, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Lower Bear Lake is just a very short distance away.
