Dry Lake is one of the lakes here in the Klamath Mountains. Throughout the warm months at Dry Lake temperatures are typically in the 90's while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are usually in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Dry Lake descend into the 30's. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Dry Lake.       Dry Lake gets a great deal of water; the month with most of the rain is December, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Oregon Caves National Monument is one of the destinations right next door to Dry Lake that are pleasant to go to, and there's whitewater on Klamath River for all you adrenaline kick people. All the outdoors exciting things in the Klamath Mountains will keep you coming back time and again. There's glorious hiking                  along the Clear Creek National Recreation Trail; there are some delightful whitewater spots on Trace Creek. Dry Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Pick-aw-Ish Campground is a wonderful local campground, and Bear Lake is a nice lake nearby. There are other places here than Dry Lake, for example Lower Bear Lake.
