This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Dry Lake has to offer, you can camp at Red Bank Campground, and a good location
for whitewater paddling is Salmon River. Dry Lake mostly gets a great deal of precipitation; December is when you get the most rain here, and July on the other hand is the driest. These mountains rock, just look at all the exciting
stuff to do in the Klamath Mountains. Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Salmon River - North Fork; while you're here you can take a hike along the Garden Gulch Trail.
