You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Diablo Range. There's so much to do here at Dry Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Chalone Creek Campground is a pleasant place for that. You just have to adore Dry Lake. Bear Gulch Reservoir is a nice lake right next door to Dry Lake, and there's good hiking along the High Peaks Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Dry Lake has to offer, you can camp at Thousand Trails San Benito. That right there is heaps of cool things already but it goes on, the Diablo Range has it all.
