Dry Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Head up to Squaw Valley and strap some skis to your feet; after a long day outdoors Brockway Springs Resort is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada, not enough time. This lake is so wonderful. Near Dry Lake you come across a golf course called Ponderosa Golf Course, and Buck Spring is an inspiring site to pop by during your stay.

Dry Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Annie McCloud Campground is a good place to camp nearby, and the Mount Rose Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close by. This spot, the Northern Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors amusing things. Northstar at Tahoe is a very popular ski area in close proximity, and Boca Reservoir is a good lake close by. Truckee River has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Atagam Beach | |

is reasonably nearby if you're in a beach type of mood.
Dry Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Dry Lake gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and
the driest of the months is July. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Visit Monte Carlo Creek while you're here at Dry Lake, and if you want to hit the beach, Patton Beach is close at hand.
For the duration of the warm days of summer at Dry Lake highs are frequently in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Dry Lake. Whitewater
paddling is great on Truckee River, and Alpine Meadow Campground is a splendid local campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the vicinity of Dry Lake. On a splendid day at Dry Lake you can take a hike along the
Mount Rose Trail, and Buck Meadows is a fine spot to stretch your legs a bit.
What a place this is for outdoors folks. A good close by hotel is Northstar-At-Tahoe, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Granite Chief Trail.
