Truckee River is a brilliant whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Dry Lake, and do have a look at Martis Creek Lake, it's a delightful lake. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Dry Lake, too glorious to be true. If you came for an overnight stay Annie McCloud Campground is a splendid location to camp, and after a long day outdoors Northstar-At-Tahoe is a great place       to spend a night or two. All through the long summer days highs here at Dry Lake reach the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 30's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 40's while Dry Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. If you like the outdoors, you'll go for Dry Lake. On a magnificent day at Dry Lake you can take a hike along the Mount Rose Trail, and as expected Monte Carlo Creek                  flows through this region. Very lovely scenery and good skiing is what you get at Squaw Valley, and the Mount Rose Trail is a brilliant hiking trail nearby. Dry Lake gets a normal amount of rain; January is the month that gets the most snow, and the driest month is July. Man, is there lots of entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Why not camp at Alpine Meadow Campground since you're here at Dry Lake, and you can spend the day on the beach at Patton Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Ponderosa Golf Course, and everybody loves Buck Meadows. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. So many cool things to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada, too magnificent to be true. There is a perfect hiking trail near Dry Lake called the Granite Chief Trail It's always great to stop by Buck Spring. All year is a great time in the Northern Sierra Nevada if you love the outdoors. If you need a spot to stay Brockway Springs Resort is a good choice. Time spent at Atagam Beach near Dry Lake is always wonderful; hey, Gotta ski right? Northstar at Tahoe is a glorious place to do that.
