Many people like to go to Dry Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Annie McCloud Campground is always a delightful experience; Dry Lake is right by the Granite Chief Trail. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at Dry Lake. A pleasant place like Buck Meadows here at Dry Lake is too great to miss; if you want to hit the beach, Patton Beach is in the neighborhood. Dry Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada.

| | in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Northstar-At-Tahoe is a glorious place to get some rest, and if you're here you can play some golf at Ponderosa Golf Course. If you came to camp Alpine Meadow Campground is a great location to do that; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Squaw Valley if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. at Northstar at Tahoe, and glide down the rapids of Truckee River in a kayak.
Summertime highs at Dry Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's while night lows are regularly in the 30's. For the duration of the winter the highs are
usually in the 40's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Dry Lake tend to be in the 0's. That right there is lots of fun things already but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. Monte Carlo Creek is a scenic stream
that is worth visiting; there's great hiking along the Mount Rose Trail. The Mount Rose Trail offers hiking at its best; dry warm beds await you at Brockway Springs Resort.
A short trip to Buck Spring is always worthwhile, and
paddling on Truckee River is so much fun. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Dry Lake. Atagam Beach is in close proximity to Dry Lake if you're in a beach type of mood. An average amount
of rainfall falls at Dry Lake; most of the snow falls through January, and July on the other hand is the driest.
