If you are in this part of California make sure to pay a visit to Dry Lake. So much entertaining stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada, just fantastic. Going for a hike along the Red Peak Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; if you need a spot to stay Harvest Inn-St Helena, Napa Valley is a nice choice. Silver Creek - South Fork is a delightful whitewater spot near Dry Lake. Summertime highs at Dry Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's.

| | Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Dry Lake are in the 10's.

to Lyons Creek from Dry Lake is painless. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Homewood in close proximity, and dry warm beds await you at Pine Cone Acre Motel. Looking for something right next door to Dry Lake? Wrights Lake
is close at hand, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Sierra at Tahoe.
Dry Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. From a rain point of view Dry Lake is a relatively normal location; January is when you get the most snow here while July is ordinarily the driest month.
