If you like lakes and you're in this part of California you can check out Dry Lagoon. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the Coast Ranges. McDonald Creek is a striking stream that is worth visiting, and Sharp Point is very near and is a brilliant place to explore. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Arcata/Eureka-Arpt Area (Mckin is a nice place to get some rest, and close by you find the Rim Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. its proximity to Cannonball Beach, and if you need a place to stay Emerald Forest Of Trinidad is a great choice. So many exciting things in the Coast Ranges, just amazing. A day at Agate Beach next to Dry Lagoon is time well
spent, and going for a hike on the Elk Prairie Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Paddling on Redwood Creek is so much fun, and you can stay the night at Redwood Trails. High temperatures at Dry Lagoon through the summertime months
are in the 70's; the overnight is a tad cooler of course, ordinarily in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Dry Lagoon are in the 30's. Dry Lagoon gets a large amount
of water; the wettest month of the year is frequently December, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Freshwater Lagoon is in the vicinity; the Agate Beach Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby.
