While you're here at Dry Canyon Reservoir you can take a hike along the Warm Springs Necktie Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Piru Creek. This place is so good, just look at all the enjoyable stuff to do in close proximity to Dry Canyon Reservoir. A glorious nearby hotel is Hyatt Regency Valencia; Pettinger Canyon is close by, and is a great site. This lake is located in the wonderful Sierra Madre. This lake is so       wonderful. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SANTA CLARITA is a brilliant location to get some rest; since you're here, you could also check out gorgeous Drinkwater Reservoir. Dry Canyon Reservoir is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Valencia Travel Village is a wonderful local campground; if you're a golfer then a glorious nearby course is Vista Valencia Golf Course. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Dry Canyon Reservoir reach the 80's                  while nighttime lows are frequently in the 60's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Dry Canyon Reservoir temperatures plunge to the 30's. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Sierra Madre. There is a magnificent hiking trail right next door to Dry Canyon Reservoir called the Burnt Peak Trail; Castaic Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at.
