     So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Dragon Lake, too brilliant to be true. You'll stumble on a delightful lake called Golden Trout Lake near Dragon Lake; from Dragon Lake you get a great vista of Black Mountain. Take a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 11; a wonderful spot nearby is Glen Pass. This lake is so wonderful. Have a good hiking adventure along the Mount Whitney Trail, and lakes are such serene places, why not stop by Rae Lakes.

   lake is located in the wonderful Southern Sierra Nevada. If you came for an overnight stay Symmes Creek Campground is a wonderful place to camp, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Best Western Frontier Motel. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Southern Sierra Nevada, too wonderful to be true. Going for a hike along the John Muir Trail - Pacific Crest Section will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and Fort Independence Campground is a wonderful  
               campground nearby.
All year is a great time in the Southern Sierra Nevada if you adore the outdoors. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Dragon Lake with overnight lows in the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Dragon Lake tend to be in the 20's. Dragon Lake is pretty dry generally; the wettest month of the year is commonly January, that's the one that rains the most, and June meanwhile is the driest month.
