Yep, outdoors cool stuff truly is plentiful here in the Southern Cascade Range. Hawk's Nest is a splendid campground nearby, and Double Head Lake is not the only place close by, Lone Pine Lake is a close by lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Southern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Don't miss       out on a spree to Lava Beds National Monument if you're here at Double Head Lake. Double Head Lake is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Belly Acres Campground is a nice spot to camp nearby, and if you've had enough of Double Head Lake, Clear Lake is nearby. Throughout the warmest time of the year here at Double Head Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's.
