The beauty of Dorothy Lake attracts many people from all around. Dorothy Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada. Summit Meadow is a beautiful place any time of year, and Forsyth Peak is a peak you can catch a sight of from Dorothy Lake. A perfect nearby hotel is Pinecrest Chalet, and get covered with water paddling on Tuolumne River.
This lake is so wonderful. Bond Pass is a brilliant site to look at, and since you might be in a lake visiting

| | mood you can always check out close by Bonnie Lake. Not much rain falls here at Dorothy Lake; most of the rain falls throughout January; the driest month is July. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing things the Central Sierra Nevada has to offer. While you're here at Dorothy Lake you can take a hike along the Ten Lakes Trail; going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12 will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.

Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Central Sierra Nevada rocks! Camping is available at Sonora Bridge Campground; paddling on West Walker River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Now, you may think that's a lot
but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Dorothy Lake. Hiking along the Early Emigrant and Indian Trail is magnificent fun, and camping at Leavitt Meadows Campground is always a great experience.
Throughout the warm months,
highs generally are in the 80's at Dorothy Lake, and the night is quite cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Dorothy Lake drop into the 20's.
