Donner Lake is a lake worth visiting. There's so much to do here at Donner Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Splitrock Campground is a splendid spot for that, and don't leave Donner Lake without first going for a hike along the Warren Lake Trail. This place is so good, just explore all the cool things to do near Donner Lake. A great close by hotel is The Inn At Truckee; Billy Mack Canyon is another brilliant site to stop by nearby.; January is the month

This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Truckee, Ca is a tremendous choice; Sugar Bowl has great slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. Horseshoe Bend is an exciting location to stop by while at Donner Lake; there are delightful sites to look at along the Granite Chief Trail. Going for a hike on the Painted Rock Trail is always a good adventure, | |

Man, is there lots of exciting stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Donner Lake is tremendous enough to spend
more than a day at, Ridge Campground is a tremendous local campground, and naturally South Fork Cold Creek flows through this region. China Cove is in the vicinity and always great to visit, and whitewater paddling is splendid on
Yuba River - South Fork. Donner Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada.

Donner Golf Course is a great golf course close by. Any time is a pleasant time at Donner Lake if you love the outdoors. High temperatures at Donner Lake through the summertime months are in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. The
wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and night lows at Donner Lake through the wintertime commonly dip into the 10's.
