Donnell Lake is always a pleasure to visit. For the period of the summertime months, highs generally are in the 60's at Donnell Lake. Summer night lows plunge down to the 40's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows through the winter for Donnell Lake tend to be in the 10's. That right there is heaps already, but it goes on; Donnell Lake has it all. While you're here at Donnell Lake you can take a hike along the Emigrant

| | Trail, and whitewater paddling is good on Stanislaus River - Middle Fork. Donnell Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Donnell Lake, you could also explore close by Twin Meadows Lake; places like Horse Meadow are nice to stop at. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Mokelumne River - North Fork is so much fun, and Bear Valley is a very popular ski area close at hand. From Donnell | |

Lake you get a great view of Dome Rock; Dodge Ridge has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff. Burgson Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by; there are plenty of people from Phoenix Lake-Cedar Ridge here. If you adore the
outdoors you'll adore it here in the Central Sierra Nevada. If the weather is nice here at Donnell Lake, you can go for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13; Donnell Lake is a good site to visit for more than one day,
Mill Campground is a good site to camp nearby. Donnell Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; most of the snow falls during January; July is the month with the least moisture. This place, the Central Sierra Nevada, has so much
outdoors entertaining stuff. Stay the night at Cascade Campground, and a quick journey to Niagara Creek is definitely a pleasant idea.
