If you need a place to stay Americas Best Value Inn is a great choice; Country Inn Sonora is a good spot to get some rest. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Don Pedro Reservoir. Summer overnight lows plunge                  down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's, and overnight lows at Don Pedro Reservoir throughout the wintertime usually fall into the 30's. Why not take a look at New Don Pedro Dam while you're here, and do stop at Big Creek since you're here at Don Pedro Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.
