You get a good view of Harvard Hill from Dolores Lake, and Dolores Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Twin Lakes RV Park is a great local campground. Camping at Yermo Koa Kampground is always a great experience. It is very dried out here at Dolores Lake ordinarily; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain while May is usually the driest month. After a long day outdoors PennyWise Inn       is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and Dolores Lake is not the only place nearby, Twin Lakes is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. A good nearby hotel is Oak Tree Inn Yermo, and a lake nearby is Lake Tami. During the summer at Dolores Lake highs are generally in the 100's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 70's.
